Vocational Training

Vocational Training
Youth forms one of the most vital groups of the society. But the real potential of this section remains dormant especially when the youth are deprived of education and skills. For mainstreaming the vulnerable youth in the mainstream of society, the organization has recently taken up the task of capacitating youth through skill development associating with the Central Government. Eligible youth have been identified from the villages and linked to the training centres of the organization to undertake skills building programs. These include:
• Advanced Welding GMAW
• Oxy-Fuel Gas Cutting
• Automotive course
After completing the courses, the trainees are also guided to find suitable employment or undertake self-employment. The task is aimed at reducing the vulnerability of the youth by enabling them to access skills and a sustainable income. The agencies like Central Government and Kudumba Shree etc. have been supporting the organization to empower the vulnerable youth.
