Ashakiran School for the differentially abled children is established under the Ashakiran Association which is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. And as a result of the last 28 years of professional service now our school is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India as a Resource center and installed satellite system in the school to make use of all modern techniques in this field. Our school is also recognized by C-DAC, Govt. of Kerala. At present, there are 200 odd students and 30 odd teaching and nonteaching are here.
Objectives of the school
- To establish a well-settled national level institution for the mentally challenged especially for the children with autism.
- To ensure the sustainable development of autistic children.
- To provide better rehabilitative services, quality education and vocational training for the disabled children.
